Following her playing career Tash turned to coaching and has a wealth of experience at all levels - West Coast Fever Assistant Coach 2016, Western Sting Assistant Coach 2013-2016, State 19U Team Coach 2013-2015.
Tash will be joined by Josie Janz-Dawson who is well known within the Netball community both here in WA, Nationally and in the UK Super League system. Josie played for Southside Sparks in 2003-2005 and 2008-2009 and periodically after that. Josie was an inaugural player of West Coast Fever from 2008 until 2016, then moving to the UK in 2017-2018. Josie brings a heap of experience in many areas of coaching and leadership, along with her work with the Wirrpanda Foundation.
Nicky Prothero has been a very strong contributor of Southside Sparks-South East Demons since 2000 and has achieved an outstanding record, having coached 218 League games, only second to Michelle Wilkins. Her premiership successes as a coach total 10 and has been acknowledged as Coach of the Year on five occasions, having also coached at State level. Southside Demons is now very fortunate to have Nicky working with the 20 & Under players in 2019.
Joining Nicky will be long time member of Southside Sparks-South East Demons Julie Cleverley. Julie commenced playing with Sparks in 1990-1994 before playing with other teams and amassed a total 322 games when she finished playing in the League competition in 2011. 212 of those games were in the League Division. Julie turned to coaching in the State Netball League in 2005-2008 with Wheatbelt Flames and back with Demons in 2016-2018 coaching the Reserves Division. Julie was also an assistant State Team coach with Tash.
Mick Lenderink continues his role the Men’s Coach for the second year and brings a lot of passion and desire to see the Men’s competition grow in the future. Mick has been coaching at Club and Association for Southern Districts for many years.
